Hands-on managerial experience
"This is excellent way to wrap-up an MBA program because it pushes students to apply almost everything they learned in prior courses. It is often the highest ranked activity in our MBA program.
"

You can put your students in
charge of a marketing division or an entire corporation. Have them divide
the executive responsibilities within the firm and manage it through several
years of business.
The business simulator compresses time and speeds up the business cycle.
One decision round in the simulation game represents a quarter in the
real life of the company.
After each decision period, the decisions of all teams in the game are
run through the simulator. The results are fed back to the players for
the next round of decision making. Repeatedly, they analyze the situation,
plan a strategy to improve it and then execute that strategy out into
the future.
The process of administering the game is completely transparent to the
students. They click a button when they are finished with the decision
round and then recieve an email from the Processing Center to sign back
in when the results are available.
